How long does it typically take to complete various styles of braids, weaves and twist?
Answer: Typically Cornrows with extensions are 1-3 hours, depending on design and layers. Individuals with human or synthetic extensions would take between 4-6 hours, and is typically the same for styles like the kinky and nubian twist. Senegalese Twist may take between 6 -12 hours.
How Long will the braids last?
Answer: Cornrows with extensions added should last up to 5 weeks, NOTE: (for natural hair expect up to 3-4 weeks). For Individuals braids, weaves and twist with extension, it can last for up to 8 weeks but DO NOT leave in your hair for no more than 10 weeks. Leaving braids or twist in beyond the prescribed time can lead to your hair locking and hair loss. So we highly recommend afterward that you call to schedule an appointment to come in and we will take down your braids for FREE (a $79 value) and schedule your next appointment.
What is the best way to transition from relaxed hair to natural hair?
Answer: The transition from relaxer to natural hair may take between 6 and 12 months depending on how much new growth you have. I highly recommend styles that does not require daily grooming for example natural braids, twisted styles, straw sets or twist out. You must have patience and a very good self esteem if you are thinking about transitioning. Natural hair requires more maintenance and your hair needs to be treated with natural oils such as coconut oil or olive oil to preserve shine and moisture.
Can I shampoo regularly if I have braids, weaves or twist with extensions my hair?
Answer: We advise that you minimize the number of times that you shampoo while have braids, weaves or twisted extensions in the hair. There are several products on the market that will enable you to do a dry shampoo in between a regular shampoo. We suggest that you do a full shampoo with a stocking cap covering the braids or twist every 3 weeks.
I hate going to the salon. Can you come to my home instead?
Answer: Yes, we offer mobile services , where we can travel to your home and braid your hair. There is a $15.00 extra charge if you reside in the Lakeland area and $30-$40 if you live outside the Lakeland area.

Answer: You will need to get 2 packs of 100% human hair. Price ranges from around $18-$45 dollars a pack. For a long look, you will need to at least 16 inches.
